The parners from Sidirokastro are a local spots club, based in the town of Sidirokastro in Northern Greece. They are involved in the development of different sports (badminton, basketball, fooball, etc) and promote physical activity. The club strives to implement new training methods and tools to develop the youth context. Special focus is se on:

• improvement of self-discipline and responsibility;
• development of the ability for multi-tasking;
• introduction of balanced and well-controlled behavioral models to deal with crisis situations;
• development of flexibility in dynamic situations (the ability to deal with changing environment);
• evelopment of team spirit (the benefits of cooperation) and fair play.

AGS Roupel works with the youth and athletes in the town and region of Sidirokastro, which is a small one. However, over the course of recent years the club has proven as a reliable partner to many educational institutions in the region.. These partnerships are of significant importance as it gives the opportunity to pilot our methods in formal physical education setting and receive benefits from the cross-fertilization of two sectors. The club works with key stakeholders and is aiming its effort to establish structured dialogue for the topic relevant to the youth.

The club has extensive proven experience in organizing sports competitions, camps, seminars and conferences lasting from one day to several weeks. Our professional activity is further developed and complemented by numerous projects related to ecology, healthy lifestyle and active citizenship and participation of young people in democratic life that we have undertaken in the local areas.
