Coordinator: Badminton Club Vias

BCV is a non-profit organization in the field of sports. The organization is registered in the year 2000 with the following objectives:

• Promoting physical culture and sport trough the sport of badminton;
• Promoting different outdoor sport activities, to develop sports culture among the younger generation.
• Тo cooperate for the facilitation the access to education, training and labor realization of young people;
• Encouraging cooperation with Bulgarian and foreign youth organizations to exchange experience in the field of education , integration, the problems of youth and encouraging dialogue between young people from the European Union;
• Helping the promotion of the interests and needs of young people;
• Drawing attention to the values and behavior of young people;

Our organization organizes training seminars and sport events, including international events and conferences. The organization is host and organizer of international trainings, sporting events and seminars involving international speakers and experts.

The association’s permanent staff consists of 20 experts and professional coaches, while BCV has established a wide network of free-lance experts, supporting its activities in the specialized fields of expertise.
Badminton Club VIAS is the lead partner of the consortium and it is the initiator of the project activities. BCV has rich experience in working with youths and adults, as well as with public bodies and private organizations. During our work we have noticed a great need of finding the right approaches in the physical and personal development of our members.

All of the activities in our NGO are part of non-formal education. The Association is working actively in the field of sport. It constantly improves the quality and efficiency of training and promotes equity, social cohesion and active citizenship.Our club has organized many national projects that are initiated and/ or funded by the Ministry of Youth and Sport in Bulgaria to support grassroots sport among students and school pupils. BCV also implemented different projects as well as participated in other initiatives related to lifelong learning and non-formal education of the Ministry of Education and Science in Bulgaria.
