Specific outputs before the final transnational meeting revolve around our main product, namely the PPDT methodology. Regarding the needs for improved and adapted methodologies and tools, we were provoked by the fact that there is a shortage of tools targeting athletes and young people, which contain individual elements of personal and professional development that stimulate the orientation for future steps. Such tools exist, but very defragmented and not adapted to complement sporting activities. There is no unified concept containing the various elements of personal and professional development as well as specific opportunities for acquiring and assessing competencies.
The coaches and technical teams of sports organizations are found to be very challenged to develop the social skills of athletes and young people because they lack the necessary capacity and tools. This necessitates the development of new and innovative concepts for gaining confidence and promoting the personal and professional development of athletes and young people, adapted for use by both coaches and athletes themselves. In this regard, the instrument will give the target groups the practical ability to address their individual personal needs, but also to stimulate the planning of professional development of athletes and young people. The teams are able to work with it, focusing on building soft skills, self-assessment abilities, adapting the labour market, learning opportunities, and more. This product helps promote gender equality in sport, including specific methods to prevent discrimination and gender inequality
